When planning our own wedding, we desperately wanted to elope. For a million reasons, those stars didn’t align for us - and that’s OKAY - but that doesn’t stop us from being wildly passionate about them! What we love most about elopements is that we can focus on just two people.

And YOU can just focus on each other. .

We’ll start with you getting ready - those details like slipping into your dress or tying your tie. After that, your day together can unfold any number of ways. You'll be spending the day getting (and then being!) married - what else we do is up to you! We can travel around to your favorite hiking trail or through town for the best photo opportunities, possibly even strolling the colorful Victorian buildings on Main Street and stopping to eat crepes or drink a local beer. We will work with you to make your day perfectly reflective of you and just as importantly, fun and stress-free.

Adventure Weddings

As part of your mountain elopement experience, think about if you'd like to ski in the winter or learn how to fly fish in the summer. Consider some extra details like spa services - a couples massage scheduled for the day after the wedding? YES PLEASE.

During the winter months you can go dog sledding, snowmobiling and of course, skiing and snowboarding. Or, the summer is amazing with endless trails for hiking, mountain biking and exploring. The possibilities are truly endless.

 ALBUM STORY

“The rustic location was perfect for a rather small wedding, away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.   We love the location of The Camp because it was a unique and fun environment where our wedding party and guests could enjoy themselves while celebrating a special union. The rustic location was very fitting when the weather took an interesting turn; storms starting at 5:30 a.m., a landslide that knocked the power out creating a powerless ceremony indoors,  a bat flying through the gym during the candle and flashlight lit ceremony.  When it comes to planning a wedding, you have to be flexible and laugh it off when things don't go as planned, like when the marriage license caught on fire! The cake was made to look like an aspen tree which is significant because we were moving to Colorado where aspen trees are prevalent and it reflects our love of the outdoors. Even the beer selection was significant-one NC beer and one from CO to show were we have been and where we were going.” – Lauren

{ REAL MOUNTAIN WEDDING } Anne + Mike at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge, Colorado

Rocky Mountain weddings at Ten Mile Station are unique because you sit halfway up Peak 9 looking down on the town of Breckenridge.  You can take the road up further, even up to the Peak 9 Restaurant.  Perhaps you'll wait until the snow flys to explore peak 9.  I'll let you in on a secret.  It's a great mountain bike climb and there are many singletrack options that you can connect to.
