Rainy Day Wedding at the Keystone Ranch

As with marriage and any relationship, there are more challenging days than others, but that didn't hold back the love in today's post, Katelyn + Jason: Colorado Mountain Wedding at the Keystone Ranch, with images courtesy of Susannah Storch Photography. The venue set up chairs, guests even had umbrellas, but there comes a time that the cold rain makes it uncomfortable to be outside. Well, if that's the case, make sure you all know when the cut off time will be, who will make the call, and don't hesitate. It takes time to reset the chairs, so you might as well get started sooner rather than later.

Colorado Mountain Wedding Planning

Some venues have on site managers, but they're not day of coordinators, so make sure you have secured a wedding planner, or a lead point bridesmaid and groomsmen that can communicate as the day unfolds. I recommend a planner or day of coordinator at the very least, to not overly stress your bridal party who could be distracted in numerous other ways. The day goes by really fast, and someone needs to be on the ball for making these kinds of calls. As you can see, the decision was made, and the party went off without a hitch. ALBUM STORY

Jason and Katelyn got married at Keystone Ranch in Summit County. Originally, they were going to get hitched at the Ski Tip Lodge (both are wedding venues operated by Keystone Resort), but due to some cold weather/scenery issues, Keystone Resorts did an AMAZING job relocating the wedding at the last minute. AMAZING! And although it rained on the wedding day (no outside first look or wedding ceremony), again, Keystone Resorts did an AMAZING job accommodating last minute changes.

The couple met through the bride's brother. He did not initially want his friend dating his sister, but once the bride and groom met, the brother could not stand in the way!

The couple relocated to San Diego, but held their wedding in Colorado, where they met and fell in love.
