8 Winter Activities in Breckenridge, Colorado

8 Winter Activities in Breckenridge, Colorado

When you plan a destination wedding in the Rocky Mountains, you have at least 8 Winter Activities in Breckenridge, Colorado that you can choose from. The given are the first ones I mention, and that's the world-class skiing and snowboarding you can find at all the major ski resorts. Summit County,  and Breckenridge in particular, has nine ski areas within an hour's drive. A free bus runs between towns or brave the roads. Just drive slow.

If you don't have you own gear or much experience in the mountains, then please rent and take a lesson from a seasoned local. A few minutes getting some pointers will go a long way in making your time in the woods fun and happy. Dress wrong and it can be really cold. Ask us how we can help pull it all together and find the right activities for you and your destination wedding experience for the Breckenridge area.

And, there are many opportunities for low or no impact activities around town. Check back for that family-friendly blog about what's good for those not shooting GoPro videos to share back home. Contact us to learn how we can help problem solve and find the right vendors and services for your group while saving you time and money.

A slower-paced activity for those who enjoy the snow and varied terrain of hiking without any of the sliding that comes along with skiing.

Planning an elopement from around the world was easy for Camilla and Niklas, as they found us online, searching for how to book a dogsled tour for their destination wedding in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.  The couple from Sweden asked us to help them arrange a photographer, the bridal bouquet and boutonierre, the officiant, the transportation and the dog sled.

We met with the vendors at the barn a few days before the wedding, and made sure everything was set.  Details were worked out and all the ceremony planning was finalized.

There are many operators that offer snowmobiling, skiing, dog sledding and winter activities.  As a longtime Florist and Breckenridge wedding planner specializing in adventure weddings, we understand the nature of the mountains, how harsh the elements can be, and the need to secure quality services from reliable vendors that will see your vision through.

We are here to help you put all the pieces together to create fun-filled experiences that you'll want to remember for the rest of your lives.  How do you do that, you ask?  Well, for starters, you can sign up for one of our wedding planning packages that will help you source all the vendors you need, book the activities you want to do, and secure rental items you don't need to buy.

You can choose between photo or video production packages, or both.  We suggest both.  We love still images, but video captures longer moments that still images just can't.  I've noticed that more than one bride saying they wish they had a video of the day, to see who all was there, and to see moments from the day.  The day will go fast, so make sure you're set up to capture it and enjoy for years to come through photos, videos and most importantly, the stories your guests will tell.

Or, as in this case, no guests will tell, but instead have fun photos and video of your adventure wedding in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.  Check back later for the video of this dogsled winter elopement in Breckenridge
