Winter lasts so long that when summer is here, it's wise to take advantage of the mountain lakes and streams for recreation and relaxation whenever possible. Even better if you can time it right to plan a photo session at one of the many bodies of water available in the Rocky Mountains. Take a guided tour with a fly fisherman, put on some waders and have a shoot that way. Or, hop on your mountain bikes for an engagement shoot. Sky's the limit and we're here to help.

There is something incredibly freeing about creating photographs for yourself. There is a certain amount of pressure that is lifted from your shoulders when you know that you don’t have to perform on a certain level. However, there is a different kind of self-imposed pressure to hustle a little harder and break from what is comfortable. Crystal and Javier stepped in the last minute when my original couple had to change their plans unexpectedly. They were an incredibly easy couple to photograph and we had a superb afternoon. These two are comfortable around each other: there is nothing stiff or forced about their relationship. Love and grace is evident in Crystal and Javier’s lives. This shoot ended up having special meaning for them, it commemorated there one year anniversary of being together as a couple.
