Engagement Photography in Iceland
Today's special feature is all about Sarah + Lauri: Engagement Photography in Harjumaa, Iceland with images courtesy of M&J Studios. If you're a regular to this blog, we're all about the weddings and mountain love stories here in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We're based in Breckenridge, but our blog here shows love stories from around the world. From time to time we get a jaw-dropping session submitted via Two Bright Lights and just have to accept it to share the eye candy. We hope you enjoy this set of images that will help inspire you for a fun day taking photos somewhere in the mountains.
Adventure Weddings and Engagement Photo Sessions
While we'd love to go to Iceland to take some pics ourselves, if you want the help and don't know where to start, we can help you put together a romantic getaway to the Summit County area to take your engagement photos in any of the nearby mountain towns. Each one has its own charm. Keystone, Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne are close by, while Vail and Beaver Creek are just a hop, skip and a jump over Vail Pass. We put together a custom package that will include a professional photographer, lodging and any other vendors or services you might need. Please contact us to learn more about small weddings and elopements too. For full-service planning needs and larger, destination events with a traditional venue, we can recommend a local Breckenridge wedding planner to work with you for Day-Of, and Coordinating Services. Some years ago when I had my studies in Reykjavik, we drove around the Iceland in three days. Awesome ride! I remember dreaming about coming back in one day and photographing on those places we passed. We drove more than 1400 km with Sarah and Lauri in few days without the rush. We stopped where we wanted, we took our time to see around. We passed all those places, starting from Reykjavik, heading to Vik, passing the Ice Lagoon in Jökulsárlón, all the way through eastern-fjords, to the planet mars type of terrains up in the north, spending the nights in Skaftarhreppur and Myvatn, coming back through Akureyri.I promised to capture the weddings photos of Sarah and Lauri when they get married and Iceland perfectly matched my vision of their wedding shots. On the road we were with the Asgeir’s music playing in our speaker all the way.
