The Keystone Ranch barns are an amazing set of buildings to be able to use as a backdrop for some photos.  Ask us how you can work with talented wedding photographers such as Colorado-based Kay Beaton, who after calling Summit County home for many years, has decided to try the front range.  She loves to work and by work, I mean go skiing, hiking and sharing our mountains with clients who are mountain folks themselves, and need a photographer who can follow them along the mountain adventure chosen for that particular shoot.

When asked about the barns in this collection of photos, she says that "we have three weddings coming up in September all at Keystone Ranch, I decided before wedding day I should check out the accessibility of these beautiful barns. I have seen lots of dynamic photos of them over the years, but have never been there myself.

So yesterday I ventured out and learned how beautiful it is - although they are a little hard to access if you're not a golfer or a bride! They are old historic barns smack between the 6th and 8th greens and it does take some "golfer etiquette" to get there backwards on the course. For couples that have booked a Keystone Ranch wedding, I highly recommend taking the 20 minutes to do couple photos out there at the barns!

I have photographed a few golf tournaments, and have learned to drive a golf cart backwards on the course…. I have learned lots of lessons from the beverage cart drivers as they do it all day everyday! AND with the brides I'll be sure to keep the plexiglass top all the way down and not risk a stray golf ball before the reception photos!"
