What Daddy's Will Do For Their Little Girls. Arches Handmade With Love.

Happy 4th of July!  The parade and airshow just wrapped up, but there's still plenty going on around town.  Make sure to visit the local sites for our mountain towns to see all the different options!  Today's blog is about highlighting what fathers have been making for their daughters at some of  the recent mountain weddings.  In the last 2 weeks we have seen an arch made of Pine Beatle wood with a matching cupcake stand, and another lodge pole arch that was more rustic.  Both were beautiful.

With the arch already constructed by dear old Dad, Dina attaches flowers to create custom floral decor for the outdoor ceremony at the family's home.  This remodeled home overlooks the Green Mountain Reservoir, which is north of Silverthorne. The reception was then held at the Raven Golf Club.

In the image below, you can see the other arch that was made, and definitely seems more rustic.  What do you think?  Some venues have arches and / or designated outdoor ceremony locations, while others allow you to customize the setting.  Certain venues have gorgeous flower beds, trees or hanging baskets that can look just fine with nothing else, but custom florals and decor will help the branding of the event, and will further carry your color palette throughout the event.

Did your Dad make your arch?  If another family member is building or making something custom, we'd love to share it with our readers!  Please submit your handmade wedding item photos with any sweet words and descriptions.  We would love to hear your story.
