We have officially kicked off our elopement season! Back in April, we had the pleasure of planning and photographing Bridget & Jonathon’s intimate elopement at Sapphire Point. The day started out with some sunshine peaking through the clouds but as the day went on, the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up. B & J were not phased by any of it. Even coming from a warmer climate, they were all smiles from the moment we met up with them ready to celebrate their love.
You know when you meet a couple and can feel their undeniable chemistry with one another? Well that was what we had the chance to experience. The love between these two was electric. Their laidback and goofy personalities fit so well together - truly two peas in a pod. Their day was the perfect combination of romantic, intimate, and playful. Phil officiated their ceremony, and like always, his bright personality evoked lots of laughs and heartfelt vows. B + J ended their ceremony with a cake cutting and champagne shower. Even the younger guests got a whack at shaking up the champagne and they had a blast doing it!
After sending off family and friends, we migrated from Sapphire Point to a couple other locations to capture some additional portrait shots for them. The leftover spring snow and low hanging clouds over the mountains really made for a mystical and moody elopement day. We finally finished off our day at Sauce on the Blue in Silverthorne capturing their first celebratory drink. We couldn’t of been more grateful to have witnessed such a beautiful love between these two. Congratulations B & J!
