This lakeside spot near Alma, CO was the perfect location for Jasmine & Austin’s colorful fall elopement! What’s wild is that we needed to shift our exact lakeside location super last minute, due to an unexpected road closure! There’s always a possibility of things like this happening, which is why emphasize trust & flexibility being key for any mountain elopement. :) HUGE shoutout to our officiant, Carey, who arrived to the ceremony location before we did with the couple & brainstormed new ideas!
Thankfully, at this beautiful spot, there are multiples areas we can go & this secondary road was wide open! The views were unmatched, the colors popping, and Jasmine & Austin’s beautiful fall elopement was perfect in every way.
We were once again joined by the lovely Carey Bjornnes with Wandering Honeymooners, who you know we love so much. If you want an officiant who not only will perform a beautiful ceremony for you, but also is kind, fun, & listens so intently, she’s it!

We couldn’t love the Alma area more. This is a favorite location of ours, and even with the last minute location shift to a different spot, we couldn’t be happier with how Jasmine & Austin’s beautiful wedding day went!
