When we purchased our two wooded acres of mountain view land, we imagined our future: the black A-frame house, a swing set with a play house, little feet running the trails woven throughout the trees, coffee on the porch in the morning and the stargazing up above at night. We have so many plans for this little slice of heaven we’ll get to soon call home. Until then, though, it’s the perfect spot for a wooded, winter engagement session!
We’ve been blown away with the most incredible clients this year and Shandell+ Andrew are absolutely no exception. We first met with them in the fall over beers and lucky for me, met with them again recently for their snowy engagement session on our land! You know you’ve connected with people when they don’t go running in the other direction when you suggest coming to a random plot of land in the middle of nowhere with snow 3 feet deep. These two are up for anything and we had the bessssst time.
Side note and of utmost importance: you’ve never seen a guy happier to be taking engagement photos than Andrew. He giggled and loved on Shandell without hesitation and with zero concern about the camera in my hands. This could’ve been just because he’s awesome or because of the wine and beer they had before the session or the whiskey shots they took during, BUT either way, it was cute as heck. You’ll agree.
Working with Shanna for our engagement shoot was amazing! She made it feel so natural and fun. The location was exactly what we were looking for and the photos turned out better than we could have imagined! My family even commented on how the photos felt very authentic to us as a couple. THANK YOU again for making my winter wonderland dreams come true for our session! The photos turned out so amazing!
