“Summit Mountain Weddings — Shanna & Dave are miracle-workers.

I decided to finally tie the knot with my fiancé in October 2025 and had my heart set on getting married on 11/8/25 — just two and a half weeks away. I immediately started reaching out to wedding planners and large online vendor sites, but all I received were automated responses and silence from real people. We truly thought there was no way this could happen.

That all changed when Shanna and Dave from Summit Mountain Weddings emailed us back the same evening we inquired. Not only were we thrilled to hear from real people right away, but after seeing their stunning Breckenridge weddings on Instagram and talking through our needs, we were shocked (in the best way) to learn that their all-inclusive elopement package was actually more affordable than the big online sites we were about to settle for.

From that moment on, Shanna was incredible. She was extremely responsive, emailing back and forth with me three, four, even five times a week leading up to our wedding. In a matter of days, she made our last-minute elopement dreams a reality — coordinating the cake and delivery to our Airbnb, the florist (including extra garlands and bouquets), a violinist who played our customized songs throughout the ceremony, a wonderful officiant who tailored our vows perfectly, and of course absolutely gorgeous photography and videography, taken by Shanna and her husband Dave.

On the wedding day itself, I was still running around getting my hair and makeup done when Shanna walked right in and immediately took over. From that moment on, I had zero stress. Everything flowed seamlessly, and the day was truly perfect — exactly because of her.

To top it all off, we received photo previews and our ceremony video just two days after the wedding, which completely blew us away.

“All the planning and spending and marking things off of some arbitrary checklist just didn’t appeal to us at all, so we decided to elope! We also didn’t want a long engagement and we wanted something low key. This was the perfect compromise. We could get our immediate families - only 10 of us total - together on short notice, and what’s more low key than an intimate ceremony on the side of a mountain! With the help of Summit Mountain Weddings, there was essentially zero planning. We basically had to show up. My brother marrying us and being part of the ceremony was awesome, and he absolutely crushed it, so that was icing on the cake.”

Trying to plan a wedding in Colorado while being in Europe seemed impossible. I am still incredibly grateful to have found Summit Mountain Weddings! The information on their website and social media was telling enough about how professional they are and that they take their work seriously and yet somehow made it really fun for me!
What really put me at ease from the start, was the responsiveness to each and every one of my emails. Shanna really made sure to answer all of my questions and concerns. The questionnaire that they send before starting the actual planning is really fun and straight to the point.
We had an initial date set for our elopement, however, we needed to change it due to my illness. Shanna and Dave were so reassuring and made new plans for us without any problems. I am still so grateful for that!

When our special day actually came, everything was perfect! The location was spectacular and the flowers were beautiful. Dave and Shanna immediately made us feel comfortable and we felt like we just had a few friends join our elopement. They even brought a blanket for us, as it was quite a cold day!
Our day could not have been any better, we made memories that we will cherish forever and the video and gorgeous photos that were made by Shanna and Dave that day are just gonna help us re-live that day!”

She and Dave made the whole experience stress free- even when we had to change locations due to an unexpected snowfall & the time due to a predicted 90% chance of rain at our original time. Shanna found such gorgeous spots at our new location to take photos, and was so great at telling us how to pose in ways that didn’t look unnatural/awkward.
