About Summit Mountain Weddings

{how it all works}

  • Reach out and say hello! The first step is the first contact, let me know who, what + when and I'll send you a formal proposal. {If you haven't yet, be sure to look at the packages offered and see what best fits your vision. Not sure? We can talk more together to figure out your best options!}
  • I'll book an officiant for you {if you need/want one; see #3 on this list for examples of legal marriages}.
  • Location, location, location. I've been photographing in Summit County for over seven years, and the scenery here is endless. We'll decide where + when to make it all happen!
  • We'll talk flowers! Based on a few of your preferences, I'll hire a florist to create some magic for your bouquet + boutonniere, along with any other florals you may want.
  • Looking for hair + makeup? Maybe a sweet, romantic restaurant for a special dinner afterwards? A videographer or cake for two? I work with an amazing group of other vendors + companies to bring your vision together.
  • The best part: you'll have an amazing photographer on Your Day ready to capture every moment. You + your spouse will receive all final/edited high-resolution digital images with your package.

when you book with summit mountain weddings,
you help give back to our beautiful landscapes.

For every elopement session booked, SMW donates $10 to the National Forest Foundation,
which in turns helps to plant 10 new trees.
How cool is that?!

Shandi + David were joined by their parents and their son, on a snowy (read: dumping snow!) afternoon in Breckenridge. Sweet details made this winter destination elopement shine!

Dana + Connor embraced the idea of eloping to a tee: they exchanged vows in front of a few best friends in Dillon and then headed lakeside with more champagne, laughter + love to share!

April + David planned a casual ceremony near Aspen with their closest friends and family. We stopped on top of the world (aka Independence Pass) for a few romantic pre-wedding photos!

Devyn + Philip lucked out with a gorgeous winter afternoon in Summit County as they held a self-solemnized ceremony with family overlooking Peak One near Lake Dillon.
