I’ll let you in on a secret.  Lake Dillon isn’t really a lake.  It’s actually a reservoir, containing the drainages of three streams.  The Snake comes from Keystone, the Blue comes from Breckenridge, and Ten Mile Creek travels from Copper Mountain.  Buildings were moved, houses were relocated, and the area that is filled with water is what you see.
